Our History
EC3 Global commenced operations in 1987 as the National Centre
for Studies in Travel and Tourism, Australia's first national
tourism research centre. EC3 was founded by the Sustainable Tourism
Cooperative Research Centre (STCRC), the world's largest source of
sustainable research. This has provided access to significant
industry science and technology, providing a strong foundation to
address client sustainability challenges.
