EC3 Global Sustainability Policy

EC3 Global is an international, environmental-management advisory group, which has developed proprietary science and technology to deliver sustainable triple-bottom-line outcomes.

The EC3 Global Vision is “to be a market leader in providing clients with advice and products which protect and enhance the economic, environmental and social integrity of their businesses and communities”

Following consideration of the importance of environmental sustainability and a commitment to be a benefit to the local community, EC3 Global is committed to strive to achieve environmental and social sustainability for the daily operations of the EC3 Global Office.

EC3 Global commits to continually improving our environmental and social sustainability performance.

EC3 Global is developing an environmental action plan in accordance with the requirements of the Green Globe Company Standard that will be implemented over the future months.

EC3 Global will comply with all relevant legislation and regulations.

EC3 Global recognises and understands the key sustainability issues that face our local and global community. In response to these issues, we are committed to achieving international best practice in water consumption and reducing CO2 emissions with an aim to become carbon neutral by 2009.

EC3 Global has appointed a dedicated Green Team lead by a Green Globe Coordinator, who is responsible for the organisations environmental performance, mitigation of environmental risks, performance monitoring and directing initiatives and environmental and social sustainability programs.

Special consideration will be given to employing and empowering staff from the local community and wherever efficient and environmentally sustainable, products and services will be sourced locally.

We encourage staff to present our commitment to environmental and social sustainability and our Benchmarked/Certified status under the Green Globe program to our customers, service providers, business partners, contractors and suppliers.

The company invites staff, landowners, guests and the community to suggest ways to further achieve best practice environmental and social sustainability. This policy will be reviewed by the end of 2008 and subsequently each year.
