What is a sector?
A sector is an industry component which can be benchmarked using specific indicators. With respect to the Green Globe travel & tourism accreditation programme, 'Accommodation', 'Cruise Vessel', and 'Attraction' would be typical sectors. Non travel and tourism type sectors would include 'Households' or 'Community Authorities'.
The sectors in the Green Globe Programme are specific to the Travel and Tourism Industry. They are:
