GREEN GLOBE INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY COUNCIL

TERMS OF REFERENCE

The Green Globe International Advisory Council is a group of distinguished leaders in the field of tourism, travel and conservation, who are committed to the goal of sustainable travel and tourism and Green Globe as an effective tool of achieving such a goal.

The role of the Green Globe International Advisory Council is to:

• Provide expert advice and guidance on the strategic direction of Green Globe in its role as the global certification program for sustainable tourism and travel
• Provide input to the development and improvement of Green Globe products (and services) including the Green Globe Standards and Sector Benchmarking Indicators for travel and tourism sectors, particularly at a product development stage
• Provide expert advice on opportunities to invest in initiatives that facilitate sustainable tourism and travel
