Brisbane based EC3 Global, a leading international environmental and tourism advisory group, is wholly owned by the Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre (STCRC), the world’s largest tourism research organization. As the commercialization company for STCRC’s intellectual property, EC3 Global is the exclusive provider of the Green Globe benchmarking and certification programme worldwide.
With a global footprint of customers and partners in 50+ countries EC3 Global has a communication strategy which includes a number of forums for customers to provide input and feedback. As part of this strategy EC3 is currently researching and updating its data base of Case Studies, an activity which is undertaken on a regular basis.
The purpose of these case studies is to highlight the investment Green Globe customers have made to protect the environment in which they operate as well as providing a platform for the sharing of best practices. To undertake this important project EC3 has engaged the services of a full time Queensland University of Technology student, Alex Rappel. Should you wish to share your experience and have your organization participate in a Case Study, please contact Alex the contact us page.
The project scope covers as many industry sectors as possible including Convention Centres, Spas, Hotels, and Hotel Groups and other key areas. Once completed the case studies will provide valuable information to both existing Green Globe customers as well as potential customers and will be relevant across the globe. Alex is currently researching and finalizing his implementation plan, with an aim to have the project completed and delivered to market within the next 3-4 weeks.
If you would like to share your story, or have any input into this important project, please contact Alex Rappel on the email included in this story.
